Dogs learn by association. Your home is where you and your dog live and therefore, is more likely where he or she misbehaves most often. This is why in-home dog behavior training can be most effective. Unlike generalized group curriculum, in-home training is personalized to address you and your dog's specific needs. Not only does the trainer come to you, the actual training moves at a pace specific to you and your dog's needs. Benefits of in-home training include:

Working with Denise was such a pleasure. Her knowledge makes you more comfortable with the tasks you need to accomplish your goal. If you are not sure how to do something she will work with you until you are at ease and confident. She is very patient. If a particular thing does not work quite right for your dog, she will try until it does work for you both. I am always following her on social media to see what she is offering next. Great trainer, highly recommend. Thank you Denise from Nona and Maxx

“Having worked with many trainers over the lives of our four dogs, I must say that Denise is one of the best. She is quick to access the relationship between handler and dog and works hard to build a working partnership. I’ve seen her with calm dogs, reactive dogs, fearful dogs, bold dogs and stubborn dogs and the results are always the same. She coaxes out the best of both handler and canine partner. Most recently, I trained with her in her Canine Good Citizen program. She gave us the encouragement and support that we needed to now be a successful working team in the Therapy Dog program at MUSC. Whatever your goals are with your dog, competition obedience or just a good home companion, I would recommend Denise.” Elizabeth
